Trinamool Leader living in Fools Paradise : Gautam Deb

The Left Front will set unique example after forming the eighth successive government in West Bengal. With deep commitment to the people, particularly to the poorest of the poor, the proposed government will prove that the Left Front is the only “alternative” that believes in delivering power to the masses. Addressing a press conference on April 5, West Bengal Housing Minister Gautam Deb said,  “We have taken a lesson from our setback in the last Lok Sabha elections. We have scrutinized our faults and mistakes to eliminate them and are now fully prepared to form the next government in the State so that our all unfinished tasks, all for the economic uplift of the people, could be done during the coming five years. We will create new job for at least 10 lakh people in next five years,” he asserted.
Raising Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee’s slanderous statements against the CPI(M) Deb alleged that she was in the habit of telling lies. Even in the Lok Sabha she made a false statement regarding  the achievements of the railways department of which she is the Minister. The figure she gave in regards to laying of tracks and electrification was incorrect and making false statement in Parliament was an offense. Deb ridiculed Mamata who claimed that she had given job to 1.80 lakh people in the railways. People did not believe it because they knew that it was not possible to give salaries to them from the railway budget.
Again attacking her misleading statement that it was the Centre that was giving rice at Rs 2 per kg to the people below poverty line. Mamata knew well that the State government was getting rice from the Centre at Rs 5.65 a kg. and the State government had to distribute it after giving subsidy of Rs. 3.65.
In reply to Mamata’s allegation that 80 per cent of West Bengal police personnel were CPI(M) cadres Deb pointed out that during the last 34 years of the Left Front rule many police personnel had retired and it was found that some of them had joined Trinamool and were seeking election as Trinamool candidate.
Deb ridiculed the Trinamool supremo who said that in the event of her party’s victory she would form a small cabinet in West Bengal. People, he said , did not believe her because she with 19 MPs in Parliament forced the Congress to accommodate seven Ministers from her party.
Mamata, Deb alleged, was playing with fire by saying that the funds reserved for Hindu OBCs were being spent for the expenditure of minority reservation purpose. She was echoing the voice of the communal BJP. It was the Left Front government in India which had allocated funds for OBCs belonging equally to all communities.
Referring  to  Mamata Banerjee’s statement that she would solve Maoist as well as Darjeeling problems restore peace there within three months of her coming to power Deb said the Left Front would not mind if she could lend the formula and save the State from bloodbath.
Before coming to power the megalomaniac Trinamool leader had given a verdict that the CPI(M) in West Bengal had gone to “coma.”  Had it been so, Deb said, the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata would not have witnessed a massive assemblage of CPI(M) supporters of more than 10 lakh people. The students wings of the party would not have consolidated their strength.
